  • Decision to learn a trade.

    Leonie graduated from high school in 2023 with top marks and then made a conscious decision to train as a watchmaker at Wempe. During her student internship, she took apart and reassembled her first watch and was fascinated by the experience. Today, she shares an apartment with other Wempe watchmaker apprentices in Glashütte and enjoys the variety of theory, practical work, and precision craftsmanship every day.

    Leonie values team spirit and made a conscious decision to join the family-owned company Wempe. That's because everyone feels welcome and supported here. The team trusts each other and masters challenges together.

  • Her true luxury.

    Even though Leonie is only at the beginning of her apprenticeship, she already knows that all paths are open to her at Wempe. Whether it's service, the workshop, or a possible assignment abroad, this motivates her and makes her want to learn more.
